Gerontology Center

Undergraduate Gerontology Minor

Matriculated undergraduate students may pursue an interdisciplinary Minor in Gerontology.  It requires 18 credits, including two of the three core courses listed below.

Electives

The following courses emphasize aging and economic issues; gender, ethnic and cultural issues; health and work issues; or cover aging in the spectrum of life experiences. These courses are available as electives to most undergraduate students. Graduate level courses with a similar degree of emphasis on aging also count toward the Certificate. Selected topic courses, clinical or field experience, as well as courses that are offered infrequently or irregularly count when appropriate.
